Really olde worlde charm with a touch of luxury. The antiques are the real McCoy. Sipping our irish coffees in the comfy armchairs infront of the wonderful roaring fire was perfect after a day touring windy Donegal.
Signage to hotel very small and easily missed

We had a very relaxing experience and found Castle Grove Country House perfect to chill out and leave city life behind. Our room with suite was superb and soo comfy! Especially the four poster bed!! Dinner was delicious and staff ever so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return. It was also great value for money.

The hotel was exceptionally comfortable and Olde World, but everything worked, if sometimes in a quirky fashion. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was quite excellent, which was something of a surprise, because that was not really highlighted in the blurb. The room I had was huge, and comfortable, again in an Olde World way. I enjoyed my stay, and will endeavour to go back, this time taking my wife with me.
The public road down to the hotel's private driveway was badly potholed and difficult to negotiate, but that is beyond the hotel's control.

We would not return to the hotel,so I think that says enough.
it seems to be run by amateurs with no professional training in hotel management.
